course.

The three semester course of mathematics provides the basics
as well as mathematical skills which are needed for the studies of
civil engineering or other engineering sciences. The course is given
in German.

The main topics of part I are:
- Real and complex numbers
- Sequences and infinite series
- Elementary functions
- Calculus for functions of one real variable
- Prerequisits:
Working knowledge of high school mathematics.
- Textbooks: will be discussed in the lecture.
- Mimeographed lecture notes (in German, EURO ) will be
available
in the office, main building, Room 229, Mo-Th 9-11.
